Call for papers (CLOSED)The European Association of Young Economists (EAYE), in collaboration with the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris School of Economics, is pleased to announce that the 2nd EAYE Workshop will take place in Paris, France, on the 3rd and 4th of October 2019 under the theme HumanizingSocial Networks. The workshop will be hosted by Paris School of Economics.
Social and economic ties play a major role in our lives. They are crucial in shaping and explaining technology adoption, peer effects, co-authorships, smoking behavior, obesity, school performance, information diffusion, migration, etc. In recent years, interest in social and economic networks has exploded and it is opening up new avenues for theoretical and applied economic research.
We invite young researchers (below 35 years and non-tenured) working on networks related topics (theory, experiments and empirics) to apply to our workshop.
Besides presentations by young economists, we are delighted to announce that two keynote lectures will be given by Sanjeev Goyal (Cambridge) and Emily Breza (Harvard).
